Em 1967, Bartolomeu Costa Cabral ingressa no atelier de Conceição Silva (1922 - 1982) e Maurício de Vasconcellos (1925-1997), em funcionamento até 1968/69. Durante esse ano, colabora na realização de projetos à escala urbana, como o Plano de Ordenamento Urbano e Turístico do sector IV no Algarve e da Quinta dos Ingleses (Urbanização Savelos).
